LAND O'LAKES — Authorities arrested a man they say attacked his wife with a knife during an argument Saturday.
Michael Monaco, 40, was arrested on a charge of attempted murder. The Pasco County Sheriff's Office said Monaco tried to cut his wife's throat and also stabbed her twice in the chest.
She had to get eight stitches, officials said, but is expected to survive.
Deputies arrested Monaco without incident at his home at 17831 Ayrshire Blvd., officials said.
No other details about the incident were released.
