Largo man accused of raping, impregnating teen

LARGO — A 41-year-old Largo man is accused of raping and impregnating a teenager, authorities said.

William Alex Willoughby, of the 15400 block of George Boulevard, was arrested Thursday by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and charged with sexual battery.

According to arrest reports, the victim was between the ages of 13 and 17 when she was assaulted. A DNA test proved Willoughby was the father of the child, which was born this summer, arrest reports said.

Willoughby does not have a criminal history in Florida, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

On Friday, he was being held without bail in the Pinellas County Jail.
