A man and woman from Largo were arrested this week on charges that they allowed teenagers to smoke marijuana and snort cocaine, sometimes in exchange for completing their chores and going to school, according to arrest reports.

On several occasions since January, Chad Ryan Mudd, 36, allowed two girls, ages 13 and 15, and a 17-year-old boy to snort cocaine with a dollar bill while inside his truck in Treasure Island and Tierra Verde, an arrest report states.

Joey Brein Mudd, 34, told deputies that she smoked marijuana five times with the two girls as a "bargaining tool," according to reports.

Their relationship to the three teens was not released.

The Mudds face several charges of child abuse. They were booked into the Pinellas County jail, but released on bail.
