Largo police raid marijuana grow house

LARGO — Police seized 13 pounds of pot and seven guns in a raid on what they described as a marijuana grow house Tuesday morning.

Two men were arrested in connection with the operation. Largo Police Lt. Mike Loux said both were taken into custody during traffic stops after they left the house to avoid a dangerous confrontation during the raid.

Jose Dickerson, 33, was charged with one count of growing cannabis, one count of leasing a space to manufacture a controlled substance, and one count of paraphernalia possession. He was being held at the Pinellas County Jail on $55,150 bail.
