Man, 26, wanted for allegedly trying to run over Pasco deputy

Authorities are searching for a 26-year-old man accused of attempting to hit a Pasco County sheriff's deputy with his car while fleeing arrest on Sunday.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, J'Rokton Williams was being taken into custody on an outstanding warrant at about 8:30 p.m. near State Road 52 in Hudson.

Williams put his vehicle in reverse and accelerated toward one of the deputies.

Williams fled in a two-door, purple 2008 Infiniti G-37 with a Florida license plate. He is now wanted for attempted murder of a law enforcement officer.
