Man accused in two school break-ins

A 20-year-old man is accused of breaking into school buildings and stealing video projectors.

Michael J. Anderson, of 30640 Tremont Drive in Wesley Chapel, turned himself in to authorities Monday. He is charged with two counts of burglary.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office says Anderson broke into portable classrooms at John Long Middle School and Wiregrass Ranch High School in January and February and took three LCD projectors worth $540 each. Anderson got into the buildings by breaking glass in the doors, a report states.

He was released from the Pasco County jail Monday on $10,000 bail.
