Man accused of sexual assault on 13-year-old girl in Hudson

HUDSON — A 19-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after authorities say he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl.

Christopher Michael Matta is charged with lewd and lascivious acts. The girl told deputies Matta got into her bed around 2:30 p.m. June 30 and forced her to have sex even though she repeatedly said no, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

Before his arrest, Matta told deputies the girl agreed to have sex, authorities said.

Matta was in Land O'Lakes jail Thursday in lieu of a $10,000 bail.
