Man arrested after fleeing deputies in Carrollwood

TAMPA — A man wanted on two outstanding warrants set off a chase Saturday afternoon in Carrollwood when he ran from deputies, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. Wanted on charges of aggravated assault domestic violence and battery, James G. Lamderton, 41, fled when deputies arrived at his apartment on Carrollbrook Circle at about 1:25 p.m. Multiple deputies responded as well as a K-9 dog, which tracked him to an unoccupied residence at 10610 Ibex St., said sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter. Lamderton was found hiding in the bathroom. He was taken into custody and transported to the Orient Road jail. He is charged with two counts of resisting arrest without violence and burglary of a residence.
