Man arrested in Port Richey hotel room stabbing

PORT RICHEY — A man was arrested Monday after, deputies say, he stabbed another man in the neck in his hotel room.

Joshua Andrew Williams, 32, got into a fight with Robin Molnar, 31, shortly before 11 p.m., according to a Pasco sheriff's report.

Williams went to his car and grabbed a pocket knife, the report states. He then went to Molnar's room at the Belmont Inn and Suites, 11736 U.S. 19. As Molnar tried to leave the room, witnesses told deputies, Williams stabbed him once in the left side of the neck.

The report did not say who contacted authorities, but Williams was arrested that night at the Inn. Molnar was taken to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point where deputies expected to speak with him Tuesday afternoon.

Williams, of 14717 Hays Road in Spring Hill, was charged with attempted murder. He remained in the Land O'Lakes jail Tuesday without bail.
