No arrest in apparent homicide in Holiday

A man is dead after a shooting at 4904 Rosedale Lane in Holiday last night.

Pasco County Sheriff's deputies found Quantrell F. Keller, 23, injured inside the home just after 11 p.m. Tuesday. Keller was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

Deputies are investigating the shooting as a homicide and say they believe the crime was drug related. Keller had active warrants in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties for drug charges and felony battery, deputies said.

Keller was arrested in Pinellas twice: first on drug paraphenalia-related charges and again for failing to appear in court. He was arrested in Hillsborough on charges of battery and aggravated battery with great bodily harm. Col. Jeff Harrington said Keller lived in Pasco for two years, but had only been at the home where he was killed about a month.

By 3 p.m. Wednesday, deputies had arrested no suspects in connection with the murder.
