HUDSON — Authorities on Saturday located a man they identified as the second person of interest in the murder of neighborhood matriarch Sarah Davis.
Robert Taylor, 49, of Brooksville was found at Calendar Girls, a gentlemen's club. He voluntarily spoke with Hernando County detectives, authorities said, then was arrested on warrants for cocaine possession, fleeing and eluding, resisting without violence and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Davis was found dead in her home on the morning of May 15. The 80-year-old was a fixture in the historic south Brooksville neighborhood, and was a former teacher and longtime sheriff's office employee.
Detectives believe Taylor might have some information that would be useful in the investigation of Davis' murder.
