ST. PETERSBURG — A man armed with a knife robbed a CVS pharmacy at 5801 Central Ave. on Monday, according to St. Petersburg police.
Police said the man jumped the pharmacy counter about 5:10 p.m. Monday and confronted the pharmacist. He demanded that the pharmacist open the narcotics safe, according to police, then swiped more than 100 prescription painkiller pills and fled.
The suspect wore a white T-shirt over his head, according to police. A more complete description was not made available.
