TAMPA — A man was hospitalized early Thursday after being shot on his chin, police said.
Officers responded around 1:45 a.m. to 3003 N 42 Street, where they found an injured man identified as 34-year-old Alphonso Guice.
Guice was taken to a local hospital in serious condition, Tampa Police said.
The circumstances of the shooting and a suspect description were unknown Thursday morning.
An investigation remained under way at 6 a.m. Thursday.
