Man shot, killed after altercation at St. Pete bar

ST. PETERSBURG — A St. Petersburg man was shot to death early Sunday morning after getting into an argument with another man outside of a bar.

James Cason, 33, had gotten into a dispute with the suspect around 2:07 a.m. in the parking lot of the Stinger Bar at 2222 49th St. S, according to authorities. Cason, who was driving, was shot in the upper torso by the suspect and died at the scene, police said.

The male suspect was not immediately identified and is still at-large, according to authorities.
