Man shot, wounded at Pinellas Park strip club parking lot

PINELLAS PARK — Authorities are searching for a man they say shot another man in the parking lot of a strip club early this morning.

Just after 1 a.m., Pinellas sheriff's deputies say, Jacquey C. Ferguson, 27, shot Damian J. Woodard, 28, after a fight in the parking lot of the Bottoms Up Gentlemen's Club, 8804 66th St. N.

Woodard survived the shooting and was taken to an unidentified hospital. Woodard was arrested last year on a charge of possession of cocaine, according to the sheriff's office Web site.

Deputies ask anyone who knows Ferguson's whereabouts — his address is listed as 535 Zanesville St. in St. Petersburg — to call them at (727) 582-6200 or Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-873-8477 (1-800-873-TIPS).

Country music has a dude problem.

I’m not talking about the proliferation of mindless bro country over the past half-decade, nor am I referring to the fact that most of Nashville’s best music these days comes not from said bros, from female singers and songwriters.

Jason Aldean performed at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa on Aug. 18, 2018.
