Man stabbed, injured in fight in Spring Hill

SPRING HILL — Hernando sheriff's detectives are investigating a stabbing that sent a man to the hospital Thursday afternoon. When deputies responded to 4105 Dristol Ave. about 4:30 p.m., 27-year-old Carl DeRoberts said he stabbed Douglas Tramill during a fight inside the house, the Sheriff's Office said. Tramill, 35, left the house and called authorities from a parking lot of nearby Springstead High School. He was taken to a local trauma center with a wound to his upper body that was not considered to be life-threatening. No charges had been filed Friday.
