Man stable after being shot outside Dade City bar

DADE CITY — Pasco County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred Friday in the area of 13500 Center St. near Cooper's Bar.

Anthony Lane, 46, was airlifted to a regional hospital and is in stable but guarded condition.

Lane told detectives that he was robbed, then shot as he sat in his car outside the bar around 3:30 a.m. He described his attackers as "dressed all in black" with covered faces.
