Man threatened her with samurai sword, girlfriend says

The argument ended early Saturday morning when a samurai sword came out of the bedroom closet. Deputies say Mark Boaz Anderson, 53, brandished it toward his girlfriend and told her, "I will gut you and kill you." Then he shoved her face with his hand, a Pasco Sheriff's report states. When deputies were called, they arrested Anderson on domestic battery and aggravated assault charges. They put him in the back of a patrol car where he screamed to be let out. When a deputy opened the car door to calm Anderson down, the report states, Anderson tried to head butt the deputy. The deputy was able to dodge Anderson's head, but they added a charge of battery on a law enforcement officer. Anderson was taken to the Land O'Lakes jail, where he remained Monday with bail set at $8,500.
