Missing St. Petersburg man with Alzheimer's found

ST. PETERSBURG — A 73-year-old St. Petersburg man missing for three days was found in Pinellas Park early Friday.

Heliodoro Garcia, of 2828 29th Ave. N, was returned to his home about 1:45 a.m., police said. His sister will take care of him.

He disappeared Tuesday after leaving for his normal morning walk, which usually lasts a couple hours. His family reported him missing that afternoon.

Garcia, who used to live in Hialeah, has Alzheimer's disease.

No information about exactly when or how he was found was released.
