New Port Richey bank robbed at gunpoint; suspect at large

NEW PORT RICHEY — A man robbed a BB&T bank Tuesday, authorities said.

The man walked into the branch at 6213 State Road 54 at noon and threatened a teller with a gun, said Pasco Sheriff's spokesman Doug Tobin.

He then fled with an undisclosed amount of money, Tobin said. No injuries were reported.

No other details were immediately available.
