New Port Richey man accused of stealing three grills

PORT RICHEY — A 25-year-old man is accused of stealing three grills from the Hideaway Bar and Grill.

A witness saw Matthew Ray Parrish drive away about 1 a.m. July 20 with three grills in tow, according to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report. The grills were used every weekend for employee cookouts and were valued at $350, the report said. An antique fire hydrant worth $1,200 was also missing.

Deputies recovered the grills from Parrish's house at 12215 Coronado Way, New Port Richey, authorities said.

Parrish was charged with grand theft and remained Tuesday at the Land O'Lakes jail in lieu of $7,000 bail.
