NEW PORT RICHEY — A 63-year-old man is accused of stabbing a bar patron Saturday night during a fight outside the Thunder Tavern.
The argument erupted just after 10 p.m. between Edwin Glowacki and several other people, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, although it was unclear what the dispute was about. The 37-year-old victim was stabbed in "the lower armpit area of his right lateral chest wall," the sheriff's report said. He was taken to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point for emergency surgery.
Glowacki, of New Port Richey, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery. He was released Sunday from the Pasco jail on $10,000 bail.
