NEW PORT RICHEY — Two weeks after being released from the Pasco jail on charges he robbed a tobacco shop, Michael Keene struck again, authorities said.

About 9:35 p.m. Saturday, Keene walked into an IHOP at 4736 U.S. 19, police said, and handed the cashier a note.

"Hands where I can see them," the note read. "I want all bills in my hand or I will shoot everyone I see."

Keene, 31, told the restaurant cashier not to sound any alarms or put a dye-pack in with the money, the New Port Richey Police Department said. If all went as he asked, no one would be hurt and he'd "walk out cool," the note said.

The cashier got the attention of a manager who called the police. Officers showed up and took Keene into custody.

Keene, of 3933 Saturn Drive in New Port Richey, is charged with robbery with a weapon. He is being held in the Pasco jail in lieu of $150,000 bail.
