One dead as Riverview argument escalates into shooting, deputies say

RIVERVIEW — One person died and two others are injured after an argument escalated into a shooting Tuesday evening, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Two people were shot and one got cuts in the confrontation at 12304 Glenshire Drive at 6:11 p.m, said Debbie Carter, a Sheriff's Office spokeswoman.

One of the shooting victims died at the scene.

The argument appeared to have started somewhere else, and bottles were thrown back and forth between individuals, Carter said.

When the fight made it to Glenshire Drive, someone pulled a gun and shot two people. A third person showed up at the fire station at Big Bend Road and Summerfield Boulevard with lacerations, Carter said.

The conditions of the injured were unknown and no arrests had been made.
