Palm Harbor man accused of exposing himself to teen girls

PALM HARBOR — A Palm Harbor man was arrested Friday on charges that he exposed himself to teenage girls at the Parkcrest Apartments, Pinellas sheriff's deputies said.

Jeffrey Stone, 31, of 2618 Country Grove Blvd., was arrested on two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior and one count of aggravated stalking, deputies said. He was being held at the Pinellas County Jail Friday evening in lieu of $60,000 bail.

The investigation began in November after deputies received a complaint from a 15-year-old girl who said an unidentified man had exposed himself to her, deputies said. Witnesses who identified Stone as the suspect said that on five occasions he threw rocks and mulch at the girls' window to get her attention. On one occasion, a 13-year-old girl who was visiting the apartment also saw Stone, deputies said.

Deputies believe there may be more victims. Anyone with information can call the sheriff's office at (727) 582-6200.
