CLEARWATER — A Palm Harbor man was arrested on a misdemeanor voyeurism charge at a Clearwater mall Saturday afternoon after police said he slipped his cell phone under a woman's dress to surreptitiously shoot video.

John Acton, 46, was caught on the surveillance cameras of an unidentified store in a retail plaza at 2528 State Road 580 "swinging his cellular phone" under the victim's dress, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

After his arrest, Acton admitted to "erasing video of the victim's underpants," according to the Sheriff's Office.

Acton was released Saturday night on $150 bail.
