Pasco deputies identify suspect in Jan. 9 shooting

HOLIDAY — Pasco sheriff's detectives have identified the suspect in a Jan. 9 shooting that critically injured a man.

Detectives are looking for Troy Anthony Garner, also known as "Ice." He is accused of shooting a man in the face and buttocks at the home at 5639 Cheyenne Drive in Holiday. The 34-year-old victim, whose name has not been released, was shot in a drug deal gone wrong, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office. The victim is out of the hospital and recuperating, sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll said.

Garner, 22, could face a charge of attempted murder. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 195 pounds. Anyone with information as to his whereabouts may contact their local law enforcement agency, or the Pasco Sheriff's Office dispatch center at (727) 844-7711.
