Pasco deputies investigate Wesley Chapel shooting and Holiday home invasion

Pasco County Sheriff's deputies were investigating a shooting in Wesley Chapel and a home invasion robbery in Holiday Tuesday night.

Deputies released this preliminary information:

At about 7:20 p.m., deputies learned that two men were robbed of money and prescription drugs at a home at 1839 Hacienda Way. When they got there, the robbers were gone. Detailed descriptions of the robbers were not provided by authorities.

In Wesley Chapel, a 20-year-old man was shot inside his car at about 8:45 p.m. near La Jolla Way and Northwood Palms Road, deputies said. The victim had left the scene of an argument at a basketball court in Northwood subdivision, deputies said. The man was shot in the side, but his injury was not believed to be life-threatening, deputies said.

No arrests were reported and no suspect information was released.
