Pasco detectives investigating child's death

NEW PORT RICHEY -- The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a child over the weekend.

Sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll said the child was taken to All Children's Hospital and died Saturday.

The child's name and age have not been released. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

Doll said the investigation is standard procedure after all child deaths.

He said more information will be available after the autopsy.
