A Pasco County doctor's office manager is charged with forging a doctor's name in order to illegally sell prescription drugs.

Bridget Carr, 33, of Hudson, would take co-pays from patients in exchange for prescriptions she forged, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office. Carr also wrote prescriptions for several non-patients, detectives said.

Carr worked for Dr. Jose Turro, whose offices are on Mile Stretch Drive in Holiday.

Carr was arrested on 57 counts of uttering a forged instrument and six counts of obtaining a prescription by fraud.
