NEW PORT RICHEY — A 20-year-old man is accused of pulling a gun on a woman and demanding she perform sex acts on him.

Derrick Ramon Harrison II approached the woman about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on Wyoming Avenue and threatened to shoot her if she didn't have sex with him, according to a report by New Port Richey police.

The woman ran into a home and called police. An unknown man who was with Harrison ran off, the report said.

Officers found Harrison hiding in a bathroom at 5908 Jackson St., the report said. An FEG .9 mm semiautomatic handgun was found under a plastic bag in the bathroom garbage can, the report said. Police ran the serial number and determined the gun had been stolen in Hillsborough County.

Harrison, of 3770 Beauchamp Ave. in Dade City, was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and grand theft. He remained at the Land O'Lakes jail Thursday in lieu of $10,000 bail.
