Pasco sex offender accused of accessing child porn

LAND O'LAKES — A registered sex offender is accused of creating 17 e-mail addresses to watch and download child pornography.

The Department of Homeland Security is investigating the files allegedly downloaded by Bryant Lee Gramer, according to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report.

Gramer, 38, was classified as a sex offender more than a decade ago after pleading guilty in Hillsborough County to lewd and lascivious actions involving a child.

As a condition of his sex offender status, he must register his e-mail addresses with law enforcement. Because he failed to do so, deputies said, Gramer now faces 17 counts of failing to register his e-mail addresses as a sex offender.

He was arrested on those charges Wednesday afternoon at his home on Saint Luke's Road and taken to Land O'Lakes Jail, where he remained Thursday with bail set at $170,000.
