HOLIDAY — Authorities have released the name of a woman shot in the face near her mobile home just after 2 a.m. Monday.
Linda A. McGuinness, 44, was flown by helicopter in serious condition to a hospital. The Pasco County Sheriff's Office had no update on her condition.
The shooting happened at 1841 Holiday Drive in the Buena Vista mobile home park. McGuinness lives on that street. Kevin Doll, spokesman for the Sheriff's Office, said the incident began as an argument between two men.
A 77-year-old man injured in the fight was also flown to a hospital. His name has not been released. The other man in the argument — who is 52 — was not injured. No arrests have been made. "It's still under investigation," Doll said Tuesday afternoon.
