Pasco teen accused of shooting out car windows

Teen held in shooting of cars' windows

An 18-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after he shot out the windows of numerous cars with a BB gun while riding with his uncle, who was delivering newspapers, deputies say.

The shootings happened in the early morning hours of Oct. 3, Oct. 4 and Wednesday, according to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report. Brandon Lee Bianco was riding those mornings with his uncle, Joseph Gavin, 27, who told deputies he delivers newspapers for the Tampa Bay Times.

The Times does not have any record of Gavin working as an independent distributing contractor, although it is possible he was working for someone else who is a contractor for the Times.

Deputies received complaints of shootings involving 29 cars. After talking to several witnesses, a deputy pulled over Gavin's blue minivan about 4 a.m. Wednesday and arrested Bianco.

Bianco was charged with 10 counts of criminal mischief. He remained Wednesday evening at the Land O'Lakes Jail in lieu of $3,600 bail.
