A 30-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday after police say she conceived a child with a 17-year-old boy.
Melissa Dilan-Hernandez is accused of having sex with the boy as early as September 2011, when he would have been 16. The boy told police that Dilan-Hernandez is now pregnant. Tests confirmed the baby is his, according to the New Port Richey Police Department report.
After she was arrested, Dilan-Hernandez told police she and the 17-year-old live together as boyfriend and girlfriend and plan on getting married.
Dilan-Hernandez, of New Port Richey, was arrested on a charge of unlawful sexual activity with a minor. She was released from Land O'Lakes jail after posting $10,000 bail.
