Pedestrian critically injured after hit-and-run in St. Petersburg

The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking the public's help in locating the driver who critically injured a pedestrian in a hit-and-run in St. Petersburg on Tuesday night.

The vehicle was traveling north on 28th Street North in St. Petersburg around 11:30 p.m. when it struck a pedestrian crossing in the intersection of 41st Avenue North, officials said.

The unidentified pedestrian is listed in critical condition at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, officials said.
