Pinellas deputies are asking for help once again in the 3-year-old missing person case of a Palm Harbor man.

Raymond "Scott" Rupp, 48, disappeared June 15, 2012, according to authorities. Now investigators are trying to track down leads related to his former roommate, Robert "Bobby" Worden, 37. Deputies said Worden moved to Arkansas months after Rupp disappeared and is suspected of grand theft and uttering forged checks that belonged to Rupp. He was recently extradited to Florida and is being detained at the Pinellas County Jail.

The two men lived together in the Harbor Club Downs Condominiums before Rupp went missing, according to authorities. Neighbors in 2012 said they did not know Rupp well, but that they saw officials cart a decomposing yellow Labrador Retriever out of his condo a couple of months after his disappearance.

In particular, deputies want to talk to a suspected associate of Worden from Arkansas. They described the associate as a tall white man who is going bald and has missing teeth. The man has an eagle tattooed on his shoulder with wings that resemble the American flag, investigators said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective John Suess at (727) 582-6153.
