Pinellas deputies: Kids at pediatric office witness couple having sex on lawn

ST. PETERSBURG — A drunken couple having sex on the front lawn of an open pediatric office was charged Saturday night with disorderly intoxication, Pinellas County deputies said.

Juliet Ruffner Bender, 39, and James Albert Mapstone, 45, appeared to be having sex while "rolling around on the ground" outside Evening Pediatrics at 4040 49th St. N around 8:30 p.m., an arrest report states.

Children inside saw the canoodling couple, and a caller alerted the Sheriff's Office.

Both Bender and Mapstone were, the report states, "cursing and causing a disturbance."
