TAMPA — A pizza deliveryman was hospitalized Sunday night after he was robbed and shot by two men, police said.
The Domino's Pizza employee was dropping off a pizza at the Vintage Loft apartments near the 1500 block of W Cypress Street. As he returned to his car, two men with a gun approached him, Tampa police said. They robbed and shot him once.
The victim, whom police did not identify Monday morning, was taken to Tampa General Hospital in reportedly stable condition.
An investigation remained under way Monday morning as police searched for the robbers.
