One of the men wanted in connection with the shooting of a four-year-old boy was arrested in Tampa late Monday.
Police said Bakari D. Parks, 23, turned himself in to the Hillsborough County Jail just before 11 p.m. Monday and was charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder.
Police said the boy he shot, Renaldo Moore, was caught in the crossfire of a feud between Parks and another man about 11 a.m. Monday, near the North Boulevard Homes apartments.
A bullet caught Moore in the upper arm as he walked with his mother near W Spruce Street and N Oregon Avenue, police said. He was recovering at home Tuesday after being released from the hospital Monday night.
Parks has been arrested nine times in Florida, including charges for burglary, aggravated battery and aggravated assault. He was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail, where he remained Tuesday without bail.
