TAMPA — Police have made a second arrest in the December robbery-killing of Andrew Jones, but are still looking for the man they think fired the single deadly shot.

That man is Christopher Clayton Miller, 23. Tampa police say he shot Jones in an attempted robbery that Miller's girlfriend set up.

The girlfriend, Asia Jackson, 19, was arrested a day after the shooting, admitted her role and has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. She was sentenced Wednesday to 16 years in prison.

Another player in the robbery, Mario Deadre Blaylock, 19, of 3701 Hamilton Ave., was arrested on Wednesday and held on a first-degree murder charge. Police say he also admitted his role in the crime.

According to arrest affidavits, this is what happened:

Jackson and the victim, Jones, met on MySpace and set up a date.

As the plot to rob Jones unfolded, Jackson got several text messages from Miller on Blaylock's phone.

He told her his "cuz" would be pointing "fire" — a gun — at her during the robbery. Blaylock and Miller are cousins, police say.

About 1:40 a.m., Dec. 19, Jones drove to an apartment at 7309 Hutton Place with Jackson. Miller walked up to the driver's side and Blaylock to the passenger's side.

Miller opened the driver's door and fired once, hitting Jones, 21, in the chest.

Miller was arrested eight days after the shooting and charged with violating probation on previous drug and petty theft charges. But he was not charged in the shooting. Jail records show he was released three hours after being booked.

Police asked anyone with information on Miller's whereabouts to call (813) 231-6130.

Police say he may be armed. His last known address is 3807 E Crenshaw St.
