Police charge third suspect in car theft shooting

Third teen arrested in shooting death

A third teen was arrested Friday in the May 10 shooting death of a St. Petersburg man. Police said Jahrez Walker, 17, acted as a lookout for brothers Shirune, 19, and Gregory Green, 16, when Shirune tried to steal Floyd Lassiter's car. Lassiter, 53, spent the night in the car after his keys were stolen the night before. When he fought back, police said Gregory shot him multiple times.

Shirune Green was arrested first, charged with first-degree murder. Gregory Green was arrested last week and charged with first-degree murder. Walker was charged with being a principal to murder in the first degree and was taken to the Pinellas County Juvenile Detention Facility.
