Police: Clearwater homeowner stabs, kills man

Police investigating fatal stabbing

Clearwater police are investigating a stabbing death that occurred Saturday night.

Officers said the homeowner at 1809 Albright Drive got into a dispute around 7 p.m. with a man who lived at the home. During the argument, the homeowner stabbed the victim, whose name was not released pending notification of family.

The victim was taken to the Bayfront Health St. Petersburg and later died.

The homeowner was being questioned by police.

No further information was available.
