Police: Couple sold oxycodone from car with infant aboard

LARGO — A husband and wife are accused of dealing drugs from their car with their infant inside.

Kesha Adkins, 26, was arrested Wednesday on charges of trafficking in oxycodone, selling oxycodone, possession of marijuana, child neglect, doctor shopping and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.

William Adkins, 34, was arrested on a charge of being a principal to trafficking in oxycodone, sale of oxycodone and child neglect.

The couple were arrested at 3460 East Bay Drive after police say they made a $500 sale. The child was released to family members.
