Police: Credit card skimmer found at one St. Petersburg gas station

ST. PETERSBURG — Credit card skimmers were found at one of 15 local gas stations checked on Friday, police say.

Each location had a history of problems with the illegal devices, which are placed on gas pumps to secretly record a customer's debit card or credit card information.

Police found a skimmer at one of the 15 locations: BP gas station at 4125 16th St. N.
