Suspect identified Plant City federal credit union robbery

PLANT CITY — Detectives have identified the man they believe robbed a federal credit union on Tuesday, police said.

William David Mounts, 32, is accused of robbing the GTE Federal Credit Union branch at 2201 James L. Redman Parkway about 5:30 p.m., Plant City police said.

Mounts was described as "armed and dangerous." Anyone who sees him should immediately call authorities, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Plant City police Sgt. James Cross at (813)757-9200.
