TAMPA — Police are asking for help finding three men they say stole two personal watercraft and a trailer from a Tampa home last month.
About 4 a.m. Jan. 17, police say the men took two red, white and black 2008 Sea Doo RXT water scooters and a gray Continental trailer, Florida tag No. AWC25W, from a driveway at 6741 Ralston Beach Circle. Together, the items are worth about $23,000.
The thieves and their cars were captured on the resident's surveillance system.
Police say the first person is a white man, 18 to 21 years old, 5 feet 10 to 6 feet tall, 165 to 180 pounds, with a fair complexion, thin build and short brown hair. He was wearing a dark shirt, jeans and black shoes.
The second is as a white man, 18 to 21 years old, 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 8, 175 to 190 pounds, with a medium build, light complexion and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue denim shorts.
Police say the third is also a white man, 18 to 21 years old, 5 feet 10 to 6 feet tall, 170 to 185 pounds with a thin build, fair complexion and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue denim shorts.
They drove away in a white 2000-09 model Dodge Quad pickup truck, and police say a white 2003 to 2007 four-door Mercedes E-Class also seen on the video may be involved.
