TAMPA — Police are seeking the public's help identifying a man they say robbed a South Tampa bank Monday.

The man walked into the Synovus Bank at 4003 W Neptune St., approached a teller's counter and presented a note demanding cash, police said. After receiving a stack of bills, the man walked out of the bank and headed north on Grady Avenue.

During the robbery, the man was wearing a white, long-sleeved baggy shirt, a white ball cap, tan shorts and black sneakers. He had a white mustache.

Police posted surveillance footage from the robbery to YouTube. Anyone with information on the man's identity is asked to call Tampa police at (813) 231-6130.
