CLEARWATER — A man arrested last month in connection with the killing of a Clearwater taxicab driver who was shot dead nearly five years ago was indicted by a grand jury Thursday on a first-degree murder charge.
Tisen KaShawn Washington, 24, is accused of fatally shooting Yellow Cab driver Jack LaGrand, 50, on Sept. 17, 2008. LaGrand had picked up Washington at Fat Daddy's, a Dunedin bar. Police later found LaGrand slain inside his cab behind a shopping center at U.S. 19 and Enterprise Road.
Washington, of Port Richey, remains at the Pasco County jail without bail.
