Port Richey woman accused of stabbing boyfriend six times

PORT RICHEY — A 38-year-old woman stabbed the father of her child six times in the back and neck Monday, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said.

The victim, Robin Harris, 35, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The incident happened about 1 a.m. at Catrica Clifton's house at 11426 Rampart Lane, a Sheriff's report states. Clifton was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Harris was staying at her house in an attempt to reconcile, but in the wee hours Clifton changed her mind and wanted him to leave, the sheriff's report states. She was yelling at him to go and he turned his back on her to speak to someone else, authorities said.

"That was when Catrica took out a knife and began to stab Robin," with a pocketknife, the report states.

Clifton is being held without bail at the Pasco jail.
